After a long test period and some test layouts we desided to move to the new Mentor Expedition version. Version EE2007.8 has some benefits on the older versions. Customers that does not support the new version will get all the layouts in erlier versions.

Tmi moves to Allegro new version SPB16.3 , and to Mentor's Expedition 2007.8, still keeping the erlier version for companies that didn't upgrade.

Tmi added a new design methology to it's PCB Design systems , enabling up to four designer to work on the same database at the saqme time. speed enhancement is only one of the greate benefits of this methology...

In the day to day business at TMI , Quality of service (QoS) requirements are technical specifications that specify the system quality of features such as performance, availability, scalability, and serviceability. QoS requirements are driven by business needs specified in the business requirements. For example, Tmi's services must be available 24 hours a day throughout the year, the availability requirement must address this business requirement.
Performance requirements are closely related to availability requirements (how failover impacts performance) and latent capacity , how much capacity is available for each customer to handle unusual peak loads.
